First camping trip of the year

 Yeah ! Camping season is here !!!  We started off this year at Gettysburg Farms, this place is a favorite with the girls. Its an actual working farm.  They LOVE it here.

I didnt trust this one at all, it looked like he was giving me the stink eye the whole time.

This little cow is the sweetest thing :)

I took this picture because she is so proud of herself for being able to climb these steps to get up all by herself.  A year ago this would not have been possible.

I love the expressions of both of their faces.  Malani just pushed Malia.  This is so typical of Malani, she loves to "push your buttons" and tease you.

1 year ago.......... and new glasses

Its been 1 year since we got Malani and boy she has come a long way since then.
She is a very happy girl.  She always has a smile on her face and boy does she laugh A LOT!  She seems to be more of a tom boy type of girl.  She doesn't like frilly things or hair bows and just checked a library book of the the school library about Bull Dozers.  She is the total opposite of Malia, who does like the pink frilly things and bows in her hair.  Both girls ADORE school for now, we'll see how long that lasts.

Malani just had her eyes examined, Yep she needed glasses.  Malia was upset because she wanted glasses too.  So we bought her a pair of frames with plain glass (plastic) in them.  Now she is happy.

I think the BEST present that Santa could have EVER brought was these iPod touches.  Look at the concentration on their faces.

My parents have a closet in the basement full of hats,  somehow the guys found it and thought it was pretty funny. Every once in awhile one would go downstairs and come up with a different goofy hat.

Christmas morning started out with a bang, the girls were all over it.

The girls both got these Plasma cars, I had heard that they were a big hit with other children.  They were right.

Malani acted normal, then about 20 minuets after they opened their presents, Malani started acting kind of lethargic.  She crawled up on the couch and curled up and tried to go to sleep.

Then about 30 minuets after this she started throwing up, I took her temp and found that she had a low grade temperature, so needles to say we didn't go anywhere "visiting" today.  It was very weird, it just came out of nowhere.  So we did this all day.......

Today we made our annual Christmas cookies.  This was Malanis first time.
My niece, Delilah was here to help also.

It's been awhile

The girls got this bubble set for their birthday. I can tell you that since August I have been through bottles and bottles of bubbles. Malani calls them buggles.

The best part for Malani is chasing and trying to pop the bubbles.
