Vacation

We started our weeks vacation at a campground that came highly recommended (for the kids), it took 3 hours to get there, which is no big deal except.......It was in bad need of updates and repairs. There was also trash laying around EVERYWHERE.  Although there was a lot of different things for the kids to do, we decided to leave after 3 days and go somewhere else.
I forgot my camera so the first couple of pictures are taken with my phone :(

This big pile of sand was the favorite for the girls.

They also had a small zip line for the littles,  this was also a favorite.

Then we went to Gettysburg Farms.

This little cow was the sweetest thing

Happy 6th Birthday

We had a fun filled weekend.  First we went to a surprise birthday party for a relative.  They had a trampoline there, which the girls LOVED.  As I was watching them on it I got to thinking that this could be good physical therapy for both girls.

They had so much fun with Aunt Anna too.

Then came the Birthday party for both girls.  As some of you know the girls are only 7 days apart.  Malia was born on Aug 10th 2005 and Malani was born on Aug. 17th, 2005.
They both wanted to be dressed as a princess.

The makeup kit was a big hit.

Nana made a whoopie pie cake

                                                         Everyone got their faces painted.

The bubbles were a big hit, even with the adults.

We were very lucky to have the sun because it was supposed to be a rainy day.

Malia and her silly faces

If the camera is pointed in her direction she will automatically make a face.  I have about 60 pictures of her like this.  In fact it's getting harder and harder to get a serious look, or a normal smile when she's getting a picture taken.  You will get either the scrunched up face or the most off  beat pose you ever saw.
